Racism...A sick, twisted, small-thinking but yet funny fenomenon

So it has been some time that I wrote a blog, but yesterday something happened that is worthy of a blog.

I was lucky enough to experience a Swedish election. Im not a newbie when it comes to this, since I experienced many elections in The Netherlands. So for me; it was just a matter of time and patience to wait for the result.

Ofcourse you have the normal social parties. They want everything better blablabla. But the most attention is always on that 1 faction. That 1 entity that wants to exclude all the foreigners, black people, coloured individuals; or however you want to call them from their country. It really doesnt matter in what country you live. Those people are always there. You cannnot hide from them, because they will follow you and haunt your ass for as long as they can breathe.

In a way I respect them very much. I mean...They have tried for centuries to get rid of the black society. But is it working? Hell no its not. It just looks that the more they try, the more powerfull the 'blacks' are becoming.

Just look at sports for example. The black people are dominating. Its always a black man winning when it comes to running. Basketball...Last time I checked; Michael Jordan was as black as a shadow. Boxing...The only thing white about Mike Tyson are his teeth.

How is it with music? Well...The King of Pop was black.

And for the record....The most powerfull man of the world is: BLACK !!! For the people who dont get this one...Im talking about the president of the United States Of America: Barack Obama !!!

Ofcourse; these are just a few examples, but if you only take those examples...You just have to respect those extremists who keep on trying to 'free' the world from the coloured ones.

Just for the record: WE ARE GOING NOWHERE !!!

Now back to Sweden. Everybody is shocked that those extremists got a victory last night. But why are you surprised about something that has been walking around this world for centuries? These guys were always here and will always be here. I just feel sorry for them and I find them hypocrite.

I mean...

These guys eh...ofcourse they live a normal life. They go out for example. They party, they drink. But after going out. What do they do when they are hungry? Do they make themselves a Kalles-Caviar-Boiled-Egg-White-Bread-Sandwich? I dont think so. No what do they do? They go to the local Arab/Albanian-Restaurant and order themselves a Kebab-Rule, or a Kebab-Talrik. Why? Why are you so damn hypocrite? At the same time you want this Arab/Albanian guy out or your country. But when you are hungry you are going to eat his food. Whats wrong with this picture? I mean...If you want him to go...Dont eat his food. Be happy with your Kalles-Caviar-Egg-Shit and leave the Kebab-Rule for the people who really appreciate this guy and his food.

And then; ofcourse they go on vacation. They have to get away from the daily stress. Ofcourse its stress; if you spend whole days devising plans on how to spread worthless propaganda on how bad foreign people are. But wait: when this extremist goes on vacation, where does he go? This piece of sh*t is taking the plane to Turkey, Greece, Spain, Cyprus or any other country where the sun is shining. And who live there? Yes..The same people you want to leave your country. But what kind of b*tch are you then? You want them to go out of your own country, but you go and visit their country as soon as you have the chance? What kind of madness is that? Why dont you take your ass to Germany? Go on vacation to Berlin. Last time I checked; 'your O-so-precious-Adolf-Hitler-Fuhrer' was from Austria and ruled Germany with his crazy propaganda. But nooooo.....You go and visit your fellow foreign friends and exploit everything they have in their country. Because when you are sitting in THEIR All-Inclusive hotel...you want to be treated like a king. Those same foreign people who you want to go out of your country are making sure that you rest on your vacation, eat on your vacation, have a clean room on your vacation and are responsible that you can go back to Sweden rested enough so that you can try to kick them out again !!!

And then you call us coloured. For me this is the funniest part of them all.

Yes we are black. But what about you? You are white.

But:

When you are sick, you turn Yellow / Green
When you are cold, you turn Blue
When you are burned from the sun, you turn Red (Also something I dont understand...You just try to get OUR colour)
When you are dead, you turn Grey
When you feel shy, you turn Pink

But you call us: COLOURED ??????

This just makes me laugh.

You know; In the end I just have to conclude that all these extremists are just jealous about everything 'black' people have. They want everything we have. Our colour, our food and some of those female-extremist-nigger-lovers would die to have a 'chocolate-baby'

So yeah...people...dont be angry at them.

This whole Sverige Demokraterna is just a way for them to express how jealous they are.

Dont hate them; just feel sorry for them and give them as much love as you can............No man Im joking :)

Let them be for what they are and continue to live your life filled with love for everyone !!!

Life ...

So it has been a long time now that I have updated this blogg. I have been busy travelling and dancing all around and everywhere. It has been quite a busy time but at the same time it was very nice to do. I mean ... Im able to do what I want to do and travel at the same time. What more can I ask for? On top of that I have the support from a superwoman. So basically I cant complain....Or can I ?

The problem with situations in life is that everything has 2 sides. A ligt one and a dark one.

Today july 5 will be imprinted in my heart for the rest of my life! Why? I choose to keep that for myself, but at the same time this is giving me the reason to write this blogg. A blogg about life. Conclusion: this is a dark side of a situation.

The thing is that we human beings are a very unhappy race. We are not gratefull in what ever way. Because we have something to complain ... Day in Day out !!! Not a day goes by without us acting like an ungratefull kid that can complain about the smallest thing or not appreciate the smallest thing in life.

For example:

The weather is always wrong. When its raining, we are screaming for the sun, but when its sunny we complain its too hot.
Is this true or not? I think it is; and if you are honest with yourself you can find yourself in this sentence.

With this there are a million other things that people can complain about...

Have you ever made a report at school? And when you were making this report you put all your energy, heart and soul in that report. You printed it out through your old ass printer in black and white. After that you put all the pages in order behind eachother and stick them together. Filled with pride and passion you take your tired body to school to give this report to the teacher; only for him to complain that you didnt put the report in a map and printed it in black and white.

Come on: what is he talking about? People dont have water for example, are handicapped, have no legs and he is complaining that you didnt put your report in a map and printed it in black and white. Why cant he appreciate the fact that you DID make the report ?

Its another small thing that we humans complain about. Do you recognize it? I sure as hell do, since it happened to me many times.

What Im trying to say is; that I think that we should stop this attitude. Ofcourse Im only 1 person at this moment that is trying to spread some positiveness, but if we all try...It might work for us to be a little more happier in life.

When your girlfriend paints or cuts her hair ... Tell her that its nice. Appreciate it. When she cooks some food for you; even when its the most nasty-ass-piece of dinner...eat it with a smile and thank her. When he is cleaning the house; girls...be gratefull. Dont point out the spot that he missed, or the fact that he used the wrong soap for the wrong surface. He is leaving his socks lying everywhere in your room? So what? Be happy that he feels at home. And with this there are a million examples that I can point out, but I think that you get the point.

Did you ever take a moment of silent and appreciate that fact that you are breathing ? I dont think so, because its so ordinary for us that we dont think of it. Why appreciate the common thing? Some people dont have the chance to breathe at all. Some never get it. So, be happy that you can.

Today I have learned that we should appreciate more in life. The small things, the odd things the big things, the silly things, everything. Be positive in life and be happy for everything that you have, because some will never get it. Even if it seems that your life is at an ultimate end and darkness...There is always a light. Dont let your life be ruled by the dark, but by the light. Is it sunny? Good..Enjoy it. Dont complain its too hot. Are his socks in your room again? Take them up with a smile and just appreciate the fact that he feels at home. Dont argue about small things. Dont fight. Dont live in anger and hatred.

Please; let us start tomorrow with a fresh, positive and appreciative start. Let this blogg be the begin of a new life for you.
I have learned it the hard way today that we dont appreaciate enough in life even though I always knew it. It came like the thunder, and before its too late for you...Dont forget this blogg and do as I say...Appreciate life in EVERY way !!! I know I will.

KNOKK

Yesterday I wrote a story about appreciation and this is basically a small continuation on that story.

This morning when I woke up and went to my door I saw 2 small envelopes lying on my floor.
I approached them with some hesitation only to find out very fast that KNOKK had sent me some merchandize for me to wear whenever Im on the street or dancing.

Amazing Appreciation ...

The life of a dancer is pretty strange. We dance and push our bodies to the limit every single time we have to get our game on. But for who are we doing it? Who will tell you from the heart; well done !! It is very rare that something like that happends, but WHEN it happends its even more nice.

Some time ago I was lucky enough to take a travel to Kosovo and choreograph and dance for a famous artist. Untill this day I will tell you that this was a very nice experience. The video was a succes and recently it got nominated 8(!) times at the annual awardshow. Like I told before, one of these awards was for "Best Video". In the end; the video got that award with three others. Im very proud of this achievement. I mean, my own blood-sweat-energy is in that video and it makes me proud that I was able to contribute such an important part to that video.

When it was time to receive the award in person on live television the artist had to give a speech. Pretty normal. Everyone from videocompany to makeup to styling got thanked. But what about the choreographer and dancer in the video? What about that part that made the video so different? What about that part that untill this day is keep giving me a lot of positive comments from people who look at the video? It seemed that on the moment where a sign, or better said: THE sign of appreciation was appropiate, appreciation was not there. The dancer didnt count. It wasnt THAT important enough to be thanked or to be shown appreciation.

Do I care ? Actually I dont care at all, since this is buissness. And in this buissness we dancers are just extra. I believe that the people who do and give good, and remember where they come from, will make it in life. If you forget where you come from; you will never see where you have to go. God NEVER sleeps ! But it makes me appreciate it even more when I DO get appreciation for the work that I do.

Last week the semester finished, and my group with my darling as the leader ofcourse, fixed me some nice stuff as a thank you and appreciation. They didnt have to do it, because in the end this is a buissness, but I really do appreciate it. They took the time and went out and tried to find something for me that I would like; and I really do. So through this channel I want to send out a very big Thank You to you all. You are just great !!! Especially you DoDo !!!

Then today I was teaching and I got a small gift from my student, with an even bigger meaning. Since when do we dancers get a small piece of jewelery when a student is thankfull??? It never happened to me, but today was the first time; and I really appreciate this. I mean it wasnt nessecary, but it happened. And even though Im being held responsible of helping this student forward in its "dancelife" ... I dont want to take any credit for it. I showed you a door and you decided to walk through. So in the end..Its all you. And thats what you should keep doing do: Believe in yourself, because you have a very good talent and I know that you can and will only grow.

So in the end: it doesnt matter if we as dancers, choreographers dont get the appreciation on what we think are proper moments ... There will come moments when you dont expect it; that someone will rise up and show appreciation to you in a very special way.

The only thing that we should do is: Cherish those moments even more !!!♥

Evolution ...

So...Midnight has passed and Im sitting behind my laptop writing this blog.
What a day it has been ... I have seen the most beautifull thing in my life (thank u very much for that one; Im still speechless); I had very good food and moments with my darling and I saw a show; done by some of my students...

And this is what I choose to talk about today: Evolution !!!

I have seen Evolution in everything I have done or seen today, but now I will focus on teaching.

Why am I teaching ? Im teaching for the simple reason; that I want to see the kids; coming into class evolve every time. And this is what I have seen today. I came to this show. Some of my students were dancing my choreography; and they did a very good job by doing that. But Im not so surprised about that, or shocked.Im surprised of the fact that these kids have become very creative. I have seen some very nice combos today. And all combos were fitting for the act at hand.

I have to point out 2 acts that I really liked.

Alisha dancing her own Bollywood style solo dance. Nice outfit, nice combo, nice vibe, nice everything. And you were alone on stage. Very nice done girl !!!

Liza dancing while Julia was singing. To start with...Julia can sing very nice. Be on the lookout for this girl. She aint started yet. And then Liza creating a combo as if she was dancing for an artist; wich was also fitting for the total act. Also here I have to say: Very nice done !!!

So to come back on all this ... For a teacher to see his students do such a good job ... Yeah: Thats what its all about !!!
I left the show with a very good feeling. A feeling that motivates me even more to keep feeding these kids with information.

Then also nice to know; is that I will be shooting my first short movie this sunday. I will be doing that with a lot of people. But also here Im pointing out 1 person in special...

Dona...I mean; this girl has a creativity that I have never ever seen in life. Her way of thinking is beyond crazy. So for me as a choreographer to work with her on this project ... Im VERY excited for this one and I cant wait to start working. Its one of those things that is on my wishlist for a very long time, and Im very happy that I can scratch it off in the near future.

Well this is it for today...Evolution...That is what I have seen today; and I hope to see more of that in the future.

The life of a teacher is nice when he sees Evolution; And I DAMN sure saw that today. ♥
